Gifts for Beer Lovers

*As seen in the Mint Hill Times

Bar accessories seem to be the rage these days and with good reason! They make the perfect hostess gift. There is always something new on the market and who doesn’t love trying a new gadget? Here are a few beer accessories I will be gifting this year!

Corkcicle Beer Bottle Cooler Sticks

You can’t go wrong with these stainless steel cooling rods. To get your beer nice and icy, freeze the rods and then simply insert them into the neck of your beer bottle to keep your beer nice and cold from the first sip to the last.

The makers of Artican claim that the product can keep a can of beer cold for up to three hours. All you have to do is unscrew the cooling core from the bottom and keep it in the freezer. When you want a cold beer to stay cold, just take the core from the freezer, attach it to the bottom of the Arctican, and put your 12oz can inside like any other beer koozie.

glassgrowlerGrowlers are a great way to enjoy draft beer at home. Every beer lover should own a growler in case they come across a hard to find draft or one they can’t get enough of. A gift card to fill the growler is a nice accompaniment!

1001 Beers You Must Taste Before You Die

This book is more than a catalog of bucket-list beers. It’s also a sophisticated compilation of tasting notes that you can reference while drinking. Just when you think you have maxed out your beer vocabulary, you are sure to learn something new!

Beer Cap Display

Does your beer aficionado save their bottle caps? There is an array of cap collection displays available these days. From custom-made shadow boxes to maps of the United States with tiny display shelves, your recipient will be eager to expand their collection.

Brewery Merchandise

Branded “merch” from your favorite brewery is an easy gift to find with __ local breweries in Charlotte. Need a gift on short notice? Your local bar should be able to help!

Does it get any better than that? Visit your local shop, where an amazing array of craft beer will be waiting. The staff will be happy to put together a gift basket, along with some beer friendly snacks and glasses or carefully mix a six-pack of interesting brews.
